Aim Of ETH4D
The ETH4D supports research in engineering, social science and humanities, natural science, to promote collaborations between scientific research, civil society, industry, and policy.
Grant Benefit
Successful applicants of the ETH4D who are students would be rewarded with a sum of 5,000 CHF and 20,000 CHF for successful applicants who are professors and scientists.
Eligibility Criteria
These are the eligibility requirements to be qualified for this grant;
• All Bachelor students, masters students, doctoral students, postdoctoral students, senior scientist and professor are welcome to apply for this award.
• Students must be enrolled at the time of the application for this award.
• Projects would require a collaborating non-academic partner, based in the projects country of focus and need a letter of support from the non-academic partner chosen.
• Projects would be required an institutional link to ETH Zurich.
• Priority would be placed on activities on country placed as least developed, underdeveloped and middle income earning country. This means applications not under this category would need to justify their selection.
Documents Needed
Here are documents needed for this grants:
• A detailed budget. This should include all activities in the project description should be accounted for in the budget.
• A single complete PDF file containing the following:
– Project Description and Objectives.
– Project Work Plan and Timeline using the Gantt Plan.
– Letter of Support from Non-academic partner.
– A CV of the applicants including publications list.
– One reference letter from within ETH.
